There has been discussion about building affordable homes over public parking in the region, however a housing development proposed for New Hamburg’s core would help create a new off-site lot with more public spots.
“I can hear our downtown businesses jumping up and down,” said Coun. Lillianne Dunstall, at a meeting on Monday.
