Jeff Van Gyssel is a change maker. As one of the original founders and ‘spark” of LYNC, he has already made a big impact. For the past two years, Jeff has been both a community champion and executive member of LYNC’s Board of Directors. He has generously provided his construction expertise, experience in renovating historical properties, expertise in green building methods and his leadership in the initial stages of the formation of LYNC. In the past month, Jeff has publicly launched a new project, Just Homes. Just Homes is an initiative of Just Working Construction, and a personal passion of Jeff and Natalie Van Gyssel.
Every year, countless newcomers arrive in Canada, seeking a fresh start and a place to call home. Addressing the pressing issue of housing for new immigrants in Canada as well as providing employment and affordable co-housing communities for newcomers is the vision behind Just Homes.
In order to focus on this very important initiative and follow his personal dreams, at this time, Jeff will be leaving our Board of Directors and ending his involvement with LYNC. We wish Jeff, JWC and Just Homes every success and we are excited to see their initiative grow strong and thrive.
