Announcement
LYNC has accepted the resignation of Jeff Van Gyssel from our Board of Directors.
Jeff is one of the founding members of LYNC and we would not be here without his vision, passion, faith and dedication. Jeff will be leaving us to focus fully on “Just Homes” an initiative of Just Working Construction. Read the announcement on our website as well as Jeff’s inspiring story.
Update on the Mill Block Community
Our facilities team is working diligently on our site plan after receiving the green light from GRCA with only a few modifications. We are so grateful for the dedication of a highly skilled team of architects, engineers, consultants and volunteers on our design team. We hope to have it ready to submit mid-November and look forward to the next steps in the process. We estimate we will be sending out tenders for a Construction Manager by December.
Meanwhile, we are focusing on funding (many, many grant applications), a Giving Tuesday Fundraising Campaign, planning our unique programs (including our newly acquired community garden) and continuing to solidify our governance, administrative, volunteer and staffing policies.
Event Spotlight

Ladies Night in New Hamburg is a tradition which focuses on local shopping, fun, food and community and we are so IN! Stop by the former Police Station if you need a place to sit down for awhile, sample a cookie, or enter a draw. Draw prizes include free housecleaning donated by Lilsisters and a local food basket donated by Sobeys.

Giving Tuesday Spotlight
Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity. On November 28, please consider giving to LYNC and DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT.
